Nurture Group Assistant - Fixed Term until 31st July 2018
17.5 hours per week
Term time plus non-pupil days
Salary depending on qualifications and experience, starting at: £6,587.20 (FTE £15,807 + fringe)
The Wickford Church of England School is seeking a Nurture Group Assistant to join their provision for pupils who benefit from the small group facility. Paddington House is a provision for KS1 children in a dedicated setting on the school grounds, offering a safe nurturing environment. This position is for 17.5 hours per week on a fixed term contract until 31st July 2018. The successful person will be:
- Enthusiastic and motivated
- Experienced in working with vulnerable children
- Qualified to level 2 or 3 in childcare or supporting children in a school setting
- An excellent team worker who is flexible where required
- Interested in gaining the NGN accreditation

The Wickford Church of England School is a small, friendly school, close to good transport links. Our school is a place where children can thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. The school provides education for children from the ages of 2-7 in the local area.
