SEN Learning Support Assistant Band 2 to midpoint
Required January 2018. 25 hours per week. Term time plus 5 non-pupil days.
Lyons Hall Primary School is part of the Learning Pathways Academy Trust and provides inclusive education for all. We are looking to appoint an experienced LSA to work one to one with a child in Early Years with Downs Syndrome. Experience of Makaton is essential and Early Years is preferable.
You will need:
· to be able to demonstrate that you have moved a child's learning through your support
· to be a team player as well as using your own initiative
· to be patient, tolerant and understanding
· GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
You will be joining a happy and supportive team with opportunities for future professional development. The post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
