The Governors of Rodings Primary School have a vacancy for a Clerk to the Governing Board. The role of clerk is to provide support, advice and administrative assistance to the governing board and although the ideal candidate will have previous experience in this role, full training will be given. Candidates must be able to work independently, be highly organised, fully computer literate and be able to act in a professional and confidential matter at all times.This is a part-time role requiring flexible working as most meetings are in the early evening and there are a minimum of 11 meetings during the academic year. Most work before and after meetings can be carried out at home.
Hours: Varied. Estimated at 200 hours per academic year
Start date: ASAP. Will be required to work alongside the current clerk initially
