We are looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and enthusiastic team, Monday to Friday from 8.45am to 1pm. The position would involve supporting a child in Year 2 with social, emotional and learning needs. Experience of working with children with SEND is essential.
The successful candidate will need to have:
• excellent communication skills
• experience of working with children
• GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics
• an understanding of children with complex needs
• a clear commitment to the safeguarding of all children
Post will be 8.45am - 1pm Monday to Friday, term time only. This position is subject to satisfactory references and enhanced DBS check.
This is a public facing role and therefore the successful candidate must speak fluent English.
This position is a one year fixed term contract with the possibility of extension.
