We are looking to appoint eithera full time or 2/day a week Learning Support Assistant, term time only, for a Year 3 child with complex learning, attention and sensory needs. This is intially a fixed contract until 31/08/18.
Experience is essential. The candidate must have an understanding of how to get the best from this lovely chiild. They must be willing to think of strategies to encourage class participation and also be able to help this child to develop their own independent learning.
Successful candidates will develop this child's engagement with learning so that school continues to be an enjoyable experience. They will also be sensitive to the needs of the child and other children in the class.
We would like the successful candidate to start as soon as possible after their interview but will allow for notice periods.
Successful candidates will be flexible, able to work as part of a team and confident to liaise with outside agencies.
