Job Description

Thurstable School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and self-motivated team player to join our successful team of School Caretakers. The successful applicant will understand the aims and priorities of the school, and take pride in the contribution they can make to achieving them.

This role will involve a range of general caretaking tasks including general grounds and buildings maintenance, cleaning, portage, liaison with contractors and suppliers and maintaining health and safety across the site.

We are happy to consider part time and full time applications. You would need to work a variety of shifts pattern that include evening and weekends and cover for lettings on a rota basis. All lettings are paid separately under the Essex County Council lettings agreement.

Full-time salary between £15807-£17419 (£8.19-£9.03) depending on skills and experience

We believe that character is taught, caught and sought and are committed to providing as many opportunities for the students to make memories from foreign exchanges, musical productions, Duke of Edinburgh schemes and numerous sporting opportunities.
