ICT Specialist / TA required asap, 27.5 hours per week

We are a friendly school with happy and motivated children. We are looking for an enthusiastic, well organised person to support our teachers in class and provide ICT support across the school. Experience in this specialist area would be desirable.

The successful candidate would need to have:

  • At least GCSE grade C in Math and English
  • Experience in a school environment, supporting pupils' learning desirable
  • A positive approach to the role and behaviour management
  • An understanding of how pupils learn
  • Knowledge and experience of the primary curriculum, especially English and Maths
  • Be able to build good relationships with staff and pupils
  • Have a positive, enthusiastic and calm manner

Desirable Skills

  • Working with windows servers, Active Directory
  • Office 365
  • Ability to manage Active Directory and Group Policy systems.

Key Requirements

  • ICT system installation, configuration and basic hardware maintenance.
  • Provision of advice and assistance to users.
  • Supporting Local Area Networks.
  • Supporting Microsoft Windows 7 and above.
  • Supporting Microsoft Office 2013 & 2016
  • Support AV equipment such as projectors and speakers
  • Experience of internet and email usage and communication (Office 365)
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Proven organisation skills
