The Boswells School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher of Mathematics. We are looking for the successful candidate to deliver high quality Mathematics lessons to develop an already strong provision within our Mathematics faculty. Applications are welcome from experienced Mathematics teachers as well as from colleagues who will be newly qualified teachers in September 2016.
You will be joining a school with enthusiastic and dedicated leaders at senior and middle leadership levels and a commitment to the professional development of staff. Mathematics is a vitally important element of our curriculum for all our students and this role has arisen following an increase in the curriculum hours we have allocated to Mathematics across the school.
The Boswells School is an 11-18, very successful, popular and oversubscribed school in the Springfield area of Chelmsford, Essex. We have achieved record GCSE results for the school in the last 2 years with 67% of our students achieving 5A*-C including English and Mathematics this year. Our sixth form is also thriving and results in this area are also well above both Essex and National averages. The Boswells School is a large 11-18 secondary school that serves the area of north Chelmsford. The school is an extremely popular, over-subscribed convertor academy that enjoys an excellent reputation in the local and wider community.
