Office Administrator (Band 2 point range 11-16)
Actual Salary range: £12,298-£13,617 (depending on experience)
Hours: 8.30-4.30 Monday to Thursday,
8.30-3.30 Friday (36.5 hours per week term time plus 5 non-pupil days).
Start Date: September 2017 or earlier (Job Share considered)
We are seeking to appoint a well-organised, efficient, flexible and committed individual with a 'can do' approach, who is able to maintain a calm, friendly and professional manner in a busy school office.
In addition, you will need to have patience, resilience and enjoy working with young people. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work under pressure and enjoy being part of a team.
Main duties will include:
· Dealing with admission enquiries
· Maintaining pupil related data (including attendance)
· Statutory returns (including SEN)
· Pupil registration and dinner orders
· Website administration, Newsletter preparation and parent messaging
· School trip administration (booking coaches, collecting money)
Knowledge of SIMS, Word and Publisher would be desirable, but training will be available for the right candidate.
Visits to the school are encouraged.
