The Gateway Learning Community [GLC] is a partnership between one secondary and four primary schools located within Tilbury and Chadwell in the borough of Thurrock to the east of London working together to achieve the highest educational standards for the whole community. The Gateway Academy is a friendly school that values teamwork and high achievement in all areas of our work with young people.
We are looking for an outstanding Lead Practitioner in English to guide and advise on best practice within the Academy. This role is critical to the school's continuing progress; it is integral to how we will achieve the highest standard of learning and teaching in every classroom. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, innovative and well-resourced and supportive faculty.
Ideal candidates will:
have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
have experience of providing professional development to teachers, including coaching, mentoring and training
have proven experience of positively impacting on student progress and raising attainment and developing excellence
have the resolve to make a real difference to the lives of pupils
