Full-Time Permanent Class Teacher at Thriftwood School & College

Class Teacher/Newly Qualified Teacher - Main Pay Range + 1 SEN Point* in Accordance with School Teachers' Pay & Conditions Document

(*For NQT's: 1 SEN to be offered at the end of a successful first year)

Thriftwood is an Outstanding Special School and College for children and young people with a range of complex learning difficulties.

We have an exciting new opening for an enthusiastic and motivated Class Teacher to work with students aged 14-19 on the College site. This is a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to be part of an innovative, inspiring learning environment with high expectations of students and staff.

The successful candidate will:

Have Class Tutor responsibility
Be confident in teaching a range of subjects including English at Functional Skills level
Have an excellent command of ICT
Be hardworking, flexible and resilient
Be willing to become involved in all aspects of College life and have fun
