5 days per week - term time only

Band 2 Local Government Scale

We require an experienced learning support assistant who is patient, caring and hardworking for classroom support across the school.

The post is for 5 days per week (25 hours) term time only.

Together with the above attributes, a good standard of English and mathematics is required. Applicants should also be confident and sufficiently experienced to cover classes occasionally when the class teacher is absent, due to PPA time, course attendance or sickness. There will be additional payment on these occasions.

Visits to the school are strongly encouraged and applications are invited by the

closing date, which is Friday 20th January 2017.

Shortlisting will be done the following week and interviews will be held during the morning of Wednesday 25th January 2017.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
