School Office Manager
We are seeking to appoint an efficient, highly organised and motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to run our busy school office. The successful applicant will have excellent time management skills and have a flexible and resilient working approach with experience of using all SIMS software. We are looking for a candidate who will be part of the schools community as we convert to Academy Status within The FennWood Trust Academy, someone who is professional and confidential at all times.
The main duties include:
Financial Administration using FMS 6 with the ability to prepare, manage and monitor the school budget. Reporting to and attending Governor Body meetings.
All HR Personnel duties, to include completion DBS when needed. Maintaining the schools Single Central Record in accordance with safeguarding legal requirements. Ability to use ECC e-payroll.
Good knowledge of MS Office software.
Overseeing the premises management by liaising with the Site Manager.
Line managing and carrying out PMR's for the School Admin/Office staff in an effective and professional manner. Operating, maintaining and developing the administrative procedures in an efficient manner.
Able to manage own workload, meet deadlines, work well under pressure, have a good sense of humour and be flexible in their approach to the position.
Attend School Leadership Team meetings when appropriate.
