Receptionist Part time 1.00pm to 5.00pm (term time only) Start date February 2016
Legra Trust (made up of three Academies, Belfairs, Cecil Jones and Darlinghurst) is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual to support teaching and learning throughout the Trust to be based at Cecil Jones Academy.
We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic part time receptionist to greet all visitors and staff in a professional, friendly and efficient manner. • As one of the school Receptionists, the successful candidate will be required to: o Deal with all enquiries from staff, pupils and visitors in a professional and efficient manner.o Maintain the Reception Area in a clean and tidy condition. o Ensure that all visitors to the School are entered in the visitors' book and issued with a visitor's badge. o To be smart and presentable at all times.

• The receptionist is also required to act as the School Telephonist:

o Answer the telephone/switchboard quickly and politely.

o Deal with all calls quickly and efficiently by either providing an answer, transferring the call or taking a message. o Take messages accurately. • Undertake clerical tasks such as word-processing, typing, filing, photocopying, completion of forms, lists etc. • Deal with students who report ill to the office. • If trained and where necessary, administer first aid to staff, students and visitors.
