Reception Class Teacher with Leadership Responsibility for EYFS (Reception) required from September 2024.
Salary: Depending on experience, but within the Main Pay Range (MPR) plus TLR 2
We are looking to appoint an experienced teacher and inspirational leader who will lead our EYFS team across two small reception classes. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a forward-thinking school with Apple iPad Technology and a well-resourced Early Years setting with a newly refurbished outdoor learning zone.
This role would suit candidates with leadership experience. However, we would consider candidates looking to take the next step in their career into leadership.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and management of the school's EYFS curriculum, and will work to improve learning standards and achievement for all pupils. They will support their team to ensure that there is consistency across the Reception classes, and will work collaboratively with colleagues across the school to ensure that pupils leave Reception well prepared for the next stage of their education.

We are looking for someone who:
Can motivate and engage our Reception children
Can inspire and support the EYFS team to further improve provision for all children.
Constantly strives to improve their practice and keeps up to date with current thinking and progression in EYFS.
Will play an active role in the admissions process, including open days, transition days, stay and play sessions and showcasing the academy's successful EYFS setting.
Is happy, caring and motivated.
