A support staff role would suit a teacher

Due to the promotion of the current postholder, the Epping Forest Schools Partnership Trust is seeking to appoint a School Improvement Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity, which whilst a support staff role would suit a teacher who would benefit from the flexibility of a non-teaching post, based in a vibrant central team. The applicant would benefit from having a teaching background, but applications are also open to others with educational background.

The main purposes of the role are:

  • To support the School Improvement Director, CEO, and Leadership Team, in the development and implementation of the school improvement strategy, in all school improvement matters;
  • To further develop effective communication channels, relationships, and collaboration amongst staff and leaders within each of the Trust's Schools;
  • Support the CEO and Board of Trustees to deliver the Trust's vision, values, and strategic business plan.

Good oral, written, and technology skills, and knowledge of Google applications, including Google Sheets and Excel, and highly organised, are essential as well as experience working in a school. The role will be based centrally; however, occasional traveling between academies within the Trust may be required. This unique opportunity may appeal to someone who wishes to change roles within the education sector.
