St John Payne Catholic School is a diverse, friendly and inclusive community of 1200 students where each member is individually known, valued and loved as created in the image of God. The school enjoys a long record of academic success and high quality pastoral care, founded upon the Gospel values that underpin our support of young people to become the best versions of themselves. Our most recent Ofsted report notes that, 'Pupils are taught in a caring and supportive environment. Pupils and staff describe it as being part of a community and some a 'big family'. Pupils are safe, well cared for and valued. Pupils know that staff are there for them.'

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an efficient and flexible Examinations Officer to join the team here at St John Payne Catholic School. The role will be under the direction of the Deputy Headteacher and will require you to manage all aspects of both internal and public examinations of all Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students. Excellent communication skills across student and staff body is a must. Ideally, the candidate will have previous examinations or school experience, however, any individual who can demonstrate the skills and energy required for this role will be considered as full training will be given and there already exists excellent knowledge and support within the Examination and Invigilation team.
