Swimming Instructor
Term time only
Start date: Week beginning 9th September 2024
Closing date: 17th May 2024
Hours: 16.25 per week which will include a Monday afternoon & All-day Thurs. (Remaining hours to be agreed and can be negotiable with swimming manager)
Salary: Level 7 fixed point 21 (£15.98p/h)
We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive, organised and reliable person who will enjoy the challenges and rewards of working with children. You will act as part of a team to promote and coach our young children with all aspects of swimming and water safety.
The successful candidate must have;
Ø SEQ level 2 qualification in Swimming Teaching or STA Level 2 Certificate in Swimming Teaching
Ø RLSS National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches
The successful candidate will;
Ø Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed around the pool area at all times.
Ø Be responsible for all aspects of health and safety at all times
Ø To coach pupils in all aspects of swimming, water safety and safety around water.
