To help us with this, we are looking to appoint a Catering Assistant to join our servery team at Fordham All Saints Primary School to assist the

Catering Manager.

Role details:


Assistant catering manager in preparing daily meals for 2 primary schools

Transport and serve food to one primary school

Clean the serving school kitchen and adhere to health & safety regulations

The successful candidates will have:


Ability to drive and collect school meals from Holy Trinity Primary School, delivering to Fordham All Saints

A clean driving licence and evidence of business insurance

NQV 2 or equivalent or City & Guilds 705/706

Level 2 Food Hygiene & Allergen Certificate

Previous experience of working in a school or similar environment is desirable, but not essential

The ability to plan effectively to enable multi-tasking

Compassion towards the needs of the pupils

The ability to exchange verbal information clearly and sensitively with pupils and adults

The ability to work with a range of colleagues

Work collaboratively across schools
