Teaching Assistants

Job Description

We are expanding our teaching team and are now looking for two enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to work predominantly in Prep classes five days a week during term time, 8.40am-12.40pm.

JOB DESCRIPTION INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO:

To proactively support children in their classwork;
To offer pastoral support to children in the class(es) you support;
Work both under the direction of the class teacher, but also independently and proactively to make the most of every learning opportunity for children in the class;
To be a proactive member of the school community every day and a wonderful role model for children;
To help with break duties and support children in their play;
To collaborate with colleagues to best benefit the children;
To exude a generosity of spirit towards the demands of a vibrant, energised and ambitious school setting;
To adhere to school policies at all times and treat the safeguarding of children as the most important aspect of the role.
