We are expanding our teaching team and are now looking for two enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to work predominantly in Prep classes five days a week during term time, 8.40am-12.40pm.
JOB DESCRIPTION INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO:
- To proactively support children in their classwork;
- To offer pastoral support to children in the class(es) you support;
- Work both under the direction of the class teacher, but also independently and proactively to make the most of every learning opportunity for children in the class;
- To be a proactive member of the school community every day and a wonderful role model for children;
- To help with break duties and support children in their play;
- To collaborate with colleagues to best benefit the children;
- To exude a generosity of spirit towards the demands of a vibrant, energised and ambitious school setting;
- To adhere to school policies at all times and treat the safeguarding of children as the most important aspect of the role.

- Observant and noticing opportunities to help children;
- Proactive and energetic in the classroom and around school as an excellent role model for children;
- Organised and hard working;
- Fair approach and easily able to communicate with children, colleagues and parents;
- Honest and cheerful
- Good rapport with children
- Good standard of maths and English
