Merrylands Primary School and Nursery has an exciting opportunity for a full time SENDCo/Lead Teacher for Autism Spectrum Conditions to join our fantastic team in September 2024.
Pay Range: MPR/UPR with SEN allowance

Merrylands Primary School and Nursery is located in Cumberland Drive, Laindon, Basildon. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic SENDCo/Lead Teacher for ASC to be responsible for the provision of ASC in our Autism Hub and SEND within the school to support our Inclusion Manager.
We are looking for a person who:
· has significant knowledge and has specialised qualifications in autism spectrum conditions
· has demonstratable experience of supporting children with SEND and ASC
· has high expectations of the children and themselves with a passion for raising standards and attainment
· has an engaging teaching style which enthuses and motivates the children to learn
· works well as part of a team and has a commitment to improving and developing their own practice
