Wishes to appoint a
Teacher of Maths
Salary: TMS/UPS
FTE: 100%
An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our successful Maths Department in Spring 2024.
Due to increasing student numbers, Brentwood County High School is on a journey of improvement and is seeking to appoint additional staff. Following our "Good" Ofsted rating in June 2022 and several years of excellent student outcomes, demand for places in Year 7 and Year 12 have been rising. In December 2023, we will be excited to open the final stage of our £27 million DFE heritage building project. This will provide new state of the art learning environments - including new science, sporting, technology, and art facilities - whilst also retaining the character of the original school buildings that date back over a century.
The successful candidate will have the ability to teach Maths across the Key Stages and will be creative, efficient and committed to high standards. The ideal candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and join a highly motivated team of superbly collaborative teachers in providing an innovative and stimulating approach to teaching and learning and to instilling a passion for Maths in our students.
Applications from teachers at any stage in their career are welcome, including teachers with the ambition to train to become Lead Practitioners; Early Career Teachers; or experienced Unqualified Teachers who are prepared to train to gain qualified teacher status. There is also an opportunity for progression with this role to become a 2nd in Maths.
