Chase High School became part of the Brentwood Academies Trust on 1/4/15. We have determined a new pastoral structure which will include three key stage Directors. The Directors need to demonstrate an ability to raise standards of progress as well as have an impact on pastoral care within his or her key stage. This will include the ability to impact on curriculum structure and bring strategies for whole school improvement. Experienced teachers with a background from all subjects will be considered for this role.The Academy is clear about the need to improve achievement and is working with partner schools to re-establish a focus on high expectations and quality learning and teaching. Chase High School works closely with St Martin's School in Brentwood drawing on its proven effectiveness over many years, at the same time maintaining the ethos and culture of our own Academy.

Chase High School is a mixed, mainstream secondary school located in Westcliff-on-Sea
, near Southend, Essex. It educates more than 1,000 students aged 11-18 from over 40 countries. Since 2011, the school has had a sixth form.
Chase High School was built more than 100 years ago and recently secured academy status under the Discovery Educational Trust. The secondary school continues to be involved in the community, forging local and international partnerships
