We are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our established team of staff to support a child for 18 hours per week. The position is offered on a fixed term contract until the child, currently in year 5, leaves our school. We would like the successful candidate to start as soon as possible.
The ideal candidate will be able to:
-
support the child by following programmes devised by the school and specialist teacher
-
liaise with the class teacher and SENCO and keep detailed records of the child's achievements
-
linked to the EHCP given for the child, use their own initiative to support them in making the best possible progress

have the desire to make a difference for the child
and ideally:
-
be educated to GCSE A-C or above in English and Maths
-
be a flexible, organised and committed team player
-
have ability to show initiative and work independently
-
have experience of supporting children with special educational needs
-
be dedicated, enthusiastic and caring

Information about the School
Two Village Church of England Primary School is a one form entry Church of England primary school in Ramsey, a village close to Harwich. Having converted to an academy in September 2020, it is part of the Vine Schools Trust. The new school building was opened in 2005 and sits within grounds that provide many opportunities for outdoor learning. Our children are polite, well behaved and enjoy learning.
