The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability, commitment and vision to build on the school's current success and to ensure that high standards of achievement and progress are achieved. This is an outstanding opportunity to develop and implement a vision for the school working alongside the recently appointed Headteacher, supported by a professional staff team and committed governors. We have delightful, well behaved pupils with positive attitudes to learning.
Our new Deputy Headteacher will:
- Have a proven track record of significant school improvement with the drive and ambition to inspire staff.
- Be highly motivated and passionate in the belief that every child can succeed.
- Demonstrate a passion for education and the ability to lead and inspire people to develop high quality outcomes.
- Be an outstanding classroom practitioner and role model within the school community.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build successful relationships.
- Have the opportunity to work and lead a team of dynamic and dedicated staff and governors who are well supported by parents.
Visits are warmly encouraged. Please call the Headteacher's PA, Mrs Mellish, to make an appointment.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and we expect our staff to share this commitment. The appointment will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure check, suitable references and a medical check.
