Following the retirement of our Office Manager at the end of term, Hazelmere Infant School and Nursery are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and proactive School Business Manager to work as a key member of our Administrative Team.
We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, organised and committed to ensuring the school is able to provide the very best for our children and their families.
You will be
- responsible for the efficient running of the school office and the management of all school administration procedures;
- act as the operational lead on finance, recruitment, admissions, premises and general health and safety;
- able to work in busy environment and meet demands and deadlines; without compromising on your commitment to accuracy and attention for detail;

Are you the School Business Manager we are looking for?
Experience of working in a school environment, whilst advantageous, is not essential. Visits to the school are actively encouraged. 30 hours per week / 41 weeks per year - hours and days negotiable for right candidate.

Information about the School
Hazelmere Infant School and Nursery is located in the Greenstead area of Colchester. Our popular school was rated as 'Good' by Ofsted in June 2018.
We have a very well resourced school. We have an array of additional spaces including a purpose built space to support children with complex special needs. All teachers and support staff are issued with iPads to take observations and enhance learning.
In addition to our teaching staff and generous allocation of classroom support, we also employ therapeutic and family support staff to support our children. We work in close partnership with our consortium schools (North Essex Schools Partnership) and Child First Trust (former LDG) to provide the best possible provision for our children and their families.
