We are looking for an excellent, innovative and dynamic teacher to join the school's senior leadership team. As an outstanding leader, you will already have demonstrated exceptional strategic and operational management at whole school level. You will have excellent organisation skills, a sharp eye for detail and the capacity to prioritise a diverse and challenging range of tasks and initiatives. Your practice is firmly rooted in an understanding of student need and an awareness of tailoring learning to each individual. A self-motivated leader and team member, you will work well under pressure and inspire confidence and trust. In the first instance, this position will be responsible for Teaching and Learning but the successful candidate should be willing to embrace a change of responsibilities in line with any future review of leadership responsibilities.

The Boswells School is a large 11-18 secondary school that serves the area of north Chelmsford. The school is an extremely popular, over-subscribed convertor academy that enjoys an excellent reputation in the local and wider community. We were graded ‘Good’ in every area by OFSTED in February 2017 and are working towards our goal of becoming a truly great school.
