We are looking for a qualified counsellor to provide a counselling service within William Edwards School. We are looking for a compassionate, resilient and understanding counsellor to provide support to our children with emotional and mental health issues. This promises to be a very rewarding role working within a highly supportive and experienced inclusion team. Working under the direction of the SENCo, the Counsellor will provide a vital service to our children. A caring and nurturing approach is essential, along with a commitment to and enthusiasm for the welfare of young people and child protection.
This is a new role within the Pastoral Department, which will build upon the strong foundations set up by our existing Pastoral Team. The team report directly to a Deputy Headteacher/SENDCo and is vastly experienced and central to our work in supporting pupils.
