We are looking for a proactive, reliable and kind Midday Assistant to join our friendly school, 6.25 hours per week (12:00 - 1:15pm Monday to Friday term time only). The actual salary range is £3,498 to £3,555 (hourly rate £12,14 to £12.34)
Key to the role is maintaining the safety, welfare and good behaviour of the pupils during their lunch break, either in the playground or the dining hall. It is essential that you enjoy working with children and can establish positive relationships with them within the context of the role.This will include engaging actively with playground activities.
The successful candidate will:
· Have a calm and positive manner
· Be flexible and patient
· Use their initiative but also work as part of a team
· Be able to maintain a safe working environment
· Be fair, caring and have a sense of humour
· Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Able to promote and supervise playground games and activities
· Enjoy the fresh air!
