New method for JobScene advertising

Following extensive feedback from schools that they need to budget their advertising costs and make the most of the space available in a JobScene advertisement, some of you may have already noticed that we have an exciting new function on the website that enables users to “size” adverts for JobScene before submitting them. The function lets you see the size of your advert and if you want to change this then you can either edit the copy or simply click on a button to increase the size of the advert and this means that you will know the price you will pay.

We have introduced a generic safeguarding statement on every page of JobScene which means you don’t need to use up precious space inserting your own for each individual advert, although if you would like to, you still can.

The standard information that is prepopulated for  each advert is:
School name
School address
JobTitle
Pay scale/salary
Start Date
Advert closing date
Shortlisting date
Interview Date


So remember that you do not need to retype this information.  The space is for you to insert the wording you would like in the main body of the advert.
The website will tell you if you have too many words for the size that you have selected, and it also lets you know if your wording could fit into a smaller advert. You can tweak the wording to fit the size you require.
