CLASSROOM MANAGER Required as soon as possible

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All appointed staff will be CRB checked without exception.

This popular school seeks to employ an enthusiastic and committed Classroom Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will supervise whole classes during the short term absence of teaching staff, undertaking pre-set work. You will work as part of a team of classroom managers throughout the school, liaising with all members of staff.

You will need to have a good general standard of education, a calm and mature personality and be computer literate with good organisational ability. An excellent attendance record is essential.

The salary will be paid at point 17 of Band 3 of the Local Government scale, ie £16,830 p.a. pro rata (actual salary £13,526). You will be required to work 35 hours a week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus one week), but paid for 44.3 weeks.
