Part-time KS2 Teacher

Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a teacher to cover our Year 4/5 class for Fridays. We need someone who has: • high expectations of behaviour and achievement • excellent classroom practice • a passion for children and committed to inclusion • a current knowledge and experience of KS2 curriculum

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children in our care and expect all staff to share this commitment. This post is therefore subject to an enhanced CRB check, medical clearance and satisfactory references. Visits to the school are welcomed.

Information about the School

St Leonard's C of E Primary School is located about 3 miles from Burnham on Crouch and 10 miles southeast from Maldon. St Leonard's Church is located in the centre of the town and lies close to Southminster C of E Primary School. The school enjoys a close relationship with the church. At St Leonard's School we all work together to recognise individual needs and support every child. We firmly believe that collective worship is an integral part of our community and through it, our children develop spiritually, morally and socially. Our class teachers are supported by an experienced team of Teaching Assistants who also take on additional responsibilities within the school together with an efficient and dedicated team of administrative staff.
