Nursery Assistant (Level 2/3 Early Years qualified) Chapel Hill Nursery
Hours of work: 37 hours per week (between the hours of 7.30am and 6.30pm - to be agreed at offer stage and to meet the requirements of the Nursery)
51.1 weeks a year (the Nursery closes for a week between Christmas and New Year)
6.5 weeks paid holiday (including Bank Holidays) per academic year
Salary Range: £18,907 to £25,397 per annum (dependant upon age and experience)
Due to expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced childcare practitioner to join Chapel Hill Nursery.
This offer is open to early years practitioners with a full and relevant Level 2 or 3 early years qualification with a demonstrable work history of working in a childcare environment. Working with children aged between 3 months and 4 years as part of the nursery team, you will provide safe, high-quality education and provision for the babies and young children in your care. Duties will include acting as a keyworker for a small group of children, providing exceptional care, liaising closely with parents/carers and ensuring each child's needs are recognised and met, teaching children, offering an appropriate level of support and stimulation, helping to set up and tidy away at the end of the session, attending meetings and training courses as appropriate, and undertaking any other reasonable duties as directed by the room lead. This role also includes supporting at the school's Tea Time Club from 3pm which caters for children in the nursery as well as the school (up to and including Year 5).
