Human Resources Assistant

Scale Point 2/3 Range 3-5

37 hours per week

(part time hours will be considered however please note start time will be 8am)

8.00am - 4.00pm, Mon to Thu, 8.00am -3.30pm Fri, Term time only

Actual pro rata salary £15,684 - £16,318 per annum

We are looking to recruit a Human Resources Assistant to work alongside our Human Resources Officer within our successful school and Multi-Academy Trust. The successful applicant will assist in the day to day operations of the Human Resources function which includes administration for recruitment (advertising, arranging interviews, candidate tasks etc.), whilst complying with the pre-employment checks and recruitment policies.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for administering payroll changes via our payroll system which will include, starters, leavers, changes, monthly overtime and absence processing in line with the deadlines set by our payroll provider, maintain personnel files and updating of SIMS personnel database.

We are seeking applications from skilled administrators who ideally have experience of working in the HR field preferably within the education sector, but this is not essential. The post holder will need to be conscientious, able to work flexibly, maintain confidentiality and have excellent communication and organisational skills. The ability to build positive and effective working relationships is essential.
