Learning Support Assistant

Hourly rate £10.39 to £10.60. Scale 4 Point 6-7.
Working hours 27.75 hours per week, term time only, Monday to Friday 9am to 3:15pm
Actual salary £12,484 to £12,733 (£19,698 to £20,092 pro rata)
Glenwood School is a thriving community special school providing for learners aged 3 - 19 years with complex learning difficulties (SLD, PMLD, ASD). We currently have over 220 learners on roll. Many learners require high levels of support, which may include personal and health care needs and or behaviour which challenges others.

Please note the post holder's duties will also involve supporting young people in all aspects of personal care both on the school site and when out in the community.
The post is for 27.75 hours per week, term time only, Monday to Friday. Working hours are set as 9am to 3:15pm. An additional hour is required each month 15:30 - 16:30 for a staff meeting (Usually 1st Wednesday of the month).
