SENIOR CARETAKER
Full time, 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday
Shift work across opening hours of the academy, there will be an expectation to work occasional Saturdays for which overtime will be paid.

Salary Scale 6 £23,023 - £24,920 dependant on experience

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Caretaker who is highly organised to support our Site Team in maintaining and managing a safe and secure learning environment for our young people. You will have a keen eye for detail to ensure our facilities are clean and well maintained.

The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent technical skills and able to provide excellent customer service to our community.

The successful candidate will be expected to have:

· An understanding of the main Health and Safety Regulations, including COSHH and risk assessment, and how they apply in a school environment

· Experience working in a warehousing or caretaking role;

· Ability to prioritise and effectively manage workload;

· Effective communication skills both written and oral to both internal and external stakeholders;

· Ability to use IT systems including Microsoft office (word & excel) and helpdesk software;

· Ability to work flexibly to suit the needs of the business;

· Ability to complete manual handling duties and general maintenance;
