Crays Hill Primary School has an exciting opportunity for an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to join the team for a 1 year Fixed Term Contract from September 2022 - August 2023.

The position is for 33.75 hours per week, 8.15am-3.30pm, Monday to Friday during term time (+ INSET days).

Salary Scale 3-4, Point Range 4-7 depending on qualifications and experience. Actual Salary £15,493 - £16,411 (including paid annual leave which must be taken during school closure periods).

We are seeking to appoint a flexible, resilient, hardworking Learning Support Assistant with strong behaviour management skills and a therapeutic approach to working with children with SEMH needs.

The successful candidate will have:

· experience of supporting pupils with a range of needs

· knowledge of success strategies to engage pupils with specific and significant needs

· a high level of emotional intelligence and excellent communication/interaction skills

· energy, enthusiasm and a flexible approach with the ability to look upon demands as an opportunity to be positive and inspirational

· a belief in inclusion, diversity and access the right of each pupil to maximise their potential whatever their needs and abilitis
