Pay Range: Main Scale for P.E and Scale 4-5 (points 6-11) LGS for Cover Supervisor

Full Time (1 Year Fixed-Term Contract)

Start Date: September 2022

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for our school to recruit an enthusiastic and committed full-time P.E / Cover Supervisor for a one-year fixed term contract.

This appointment provides an opportunity to strengthen our P.E department and Cover Supervisor team.

The successful candidate will have a dual contract depending on the hours taught in P.E or being a Cover Supervisor. The number of hours whether teaching P.E or working as a Cover Supervisor will be discussed at the interview and may change throughout the year depending on the needs of the school.

If you would like to join a dynamic and forward thinking P.E department as well as cover lessons for day-to-day short term absence we would love to hear from you.

We would also like to hear from you if you could offer a second subject, particularly humanities.

Philip Morant is a popular, mixed comprehensive, in north-east Essex. The school has served the town of Colchester for over half a century and has a tradition, not only of excellence in education but also caring for its young people. We are committed to achieving the highest standards and delivering a holistic education and experiences which prepare our students for the next stage in their education, training or work place.

Please feel free to contact us on 01206 545222 if you require any further information about the school, or would like to arrange a visit. We will offer you a warm welcome and let you see for yourself why we are proud of our school.
