Mildmay Infant & Nursery School

Catering Manager - Term Time Only (38 weeks per year)

Required: ASAP

27.5 hours per week (8.30 am - 2 pm - Monday to Friday)

NPS Band 3, Scale Point 6-17 (Actual salary £12,656 - £15,736)

Our school dinners are very popular and we would like to welcome a new Catering Manager to work with our catering team.

The successful applicant will be trained to at least level 2 Food Safety or NVQ equivalent. They must have experience of working in a kitchen environment and will be responsible for:

· Planning a balanced and nutritious menu

· Organising theme days

· Ordering stock

· Budget management

· Line management of kitchen staff

· Compliance with food standards and hygiene regulations

This role will be supported by a School Meals Service Consultant. Previous experience in a school kitchen is highly desirable.

Please note that as with all jobs in school, holidays are not permitted during term time.
