An enthusiastic SEN Assistant is required to work in partnership with the SENCO, Student Intervention Manager and classroom teachers to support the progress of students who have special education needs, in line with the national curriculum, codes of practice and school policies and procedures. You will be part of a supportive Intervention Team.
Candidates should be able to support students with literacy and numeracy and may also be expected to support students with any difficulties they experience in accessing the curriculum as a result of their particular needs to enable them to learn effectively alongside their peers.
Hours: Various days and hours available.
Salary: Scale 3, Point 4 - £19,264 per annum (Full Time Equivalent)
Progression is based on an annual performance review.
