Receptionist - Student Support

Required: Immediate start

Pay Scale 2-3 point 3-5

Actual Annual Salary £14,625 - £15,215

34.5 hours per week, Mon - Thur 9.00am - 4.30pm Fri 9.00am - 4.00pm

Do you have good communication skills and are adaptable and organised?

If so this post could be for you. Due to promotion we are looking to recruit a receptionist for our Student Services team. Ideally you will have previous experience of working within a school, although this is not essential.

The successful candidate will be required to provide an efficient reception service acting as a point of contact for parents, staff and pupils. You will need to able to need to be able to multi-task, be adaptable, flexible and have the ability to work under pressure. Ability to work on your own initiative whilst remaining calm is essential.

Excellent administration, literacy and numeracy skills are essential alongside attention to detail, as you will be responsible for the management of all counselling referrals and booking appointments.

The role also requires excellent ICT skills.

You will need to:

· Have a minimum of GCSE English and maths to Grade C or equivalent qualification and a sound academic background.

· Commit to working collaboratively with colleagues and students

· Possess a good working knowledge of ICT

· Have successful recent experience working with children of the relevant age range and previous classroom experience (desirable but not essential)
