Head of Performing Arts

Pay Range: Teachers Main Pay Scale M1- M6 plus TLR2b

SALARY IN FIGURES (£25,714 - £36,961)

Start Date: As soon as possible

The Role

We are seeking an outstanding individual to raise standards of student attainment and achievement in Performing Arts and to monitor and support student progress.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

● To lead the development of appropriate syllabuses, resources, schemes of work and teaching and learning strategies in Performing Arts which reflect the school's commitment to high achievement through effective teaching and learning.

● To keep up to date with national developments in subject areas and teaching practice and methodology.

● To ensure that staff development needs are identified and that appropriate programmes are designed to meet such needs.

· Qualified teacher status

· Excellent classroom practitioner across the age and ability range

· Proven classroom management ability
