Early Years Learning Support Assistant Required
Salary:GLC Points 10-16, £12,539.24 - £14,969per annum pro rata [FTE £17,427 - £20,805]
Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 31.25 - Term Time only.
Start Date: Immediate Start
Tilbury Pioneer Academy ispart of the Gateway Learning Community [GLC] which is a partnership between one secondary and four primary schools located within Tilbury and Chadwell in the borough of Thurrock to the east of London.

We are looking to appoint a strong, enthusiastic, committed and creative early yearsLSA . Successful candidates will be required to work flexibly taking direction from the Nursery teacherand SENCo in adapting and planning activities to take students' learning forward. Our students' needs are at the core of Tilbury Pioneer's ethos and successful candidates will be required to support the emotional and social development of the young people they work with.
Candidates must be able to carry out and write up necessary observations to inform and evaluate the child's needs. They must be experienced classroom practitioners proactive in dealing with students and identifying groups or individuals who may be falling behind in their learning.
Candidates must be able to use their own initiative and will have the following:
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent is essential;
good standard of education; Maths and English GCSE grades A - C, or equivalent;
can provide excellent classroom support in literacy, numeracy and behavioural needs;
good organisation and inter-personal skills;
good knowledge of ICT;
be committed to high achievement from students and themselves.
