An exciting opportunity has arisen in our school for an enthusiastic and dedicated part-time teacher for three days a week in a KS2 class. The class would be taken with an experienced teacher for the remaining two days. St Michael's is a welcoming, vibrant and inclusive two form entry junior school that offers a creative and engaging curriculum to all of our pupils. Our children have brilliant attitudes towards their learning and their behaviour is exemplary.

We have an experienced, dynamic and friendly team of staff who will be able to offer you a high level of support and professional development. This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop your teaching skills in a supportive and nurturing environment. We place great emphasis on staff wellbeing and have introduced initiatives to promote a healthy work/life balance. All staff have access to a well-being service provided by Health Assured.

We are looking to appoint a teacher who:

- is an innovative and reflective practitioner who has high expectations for all children

- can motivate, challenge, inspire and support pupils in order that they can achieve their very best

- is able to instil a love of learning and encourage curiosity

- understands the importance of developing and maintaining positive relationships with parents, governors and the wider community

- will support the Christian ethos of our school.
