Wishes to appoint a
Learning Support Assistant - Behaviour
Salary: Band A Point 1 - 6
(£11,447.19 - £12,635.39 per annum)
Fixed term contract until 31st August 2023
27 hours 5 minutes per week
8:45am - 3:15pm, Monday - Friday, with a 50 minute lunchbreak & 15 minute coffee break (both unpaid)
37 weeks of the year - term time only
Start Date: ASAP
We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant with excellent behaviour management skills to take on a crucial role within our school. The successful candidate should be familiar with SEMH and have previous experience of working with vulnerable children. They will possess the ability to make quick decisions and be a team player. The successful candidate will enable pupils with additional needs, including behaviour, to access learning through assisting them in understanding and managing their behaviour to enable them to become successful learners.

You will work in partnership with class teachers, to support learning in line with the National Curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, codes of practice, school policies and procedures.

East Tilbury Primary School & Nursery converted to Academy Status in April 2012 as a partner in St Cleres Co-operative Academy Trust. We are a three/four form entry school in a semi-rural location, only a 5 minute walk from East Tilbury Station which is on the C2C Fenchurch - Shoeburyness Line. .
