Celebrating Each Other And The Journey We Share

At St Lawrence, we pride ourselves on learning to 'sail the sea of life' together. Children (and adults) in our lively primary school love learning - it is exciting, fun and life-changing.

Our school is committed to inclusion, supporting everyone in our community to be themselves, express themselves and find joy in their individuality. We know that not every child's journey is the same. Some of our children have complex needs that require additional, individual support funded, in part, by the Local Authority.

We are looking for new members to join our strong, positive and pro-active team who will relish and celebrate the joy of our shared and individual achievements. We are keen to employ staff who love working 1:1 with children and understand the complexities of helping children with additional needs to shine.

If you are committed to

· providing creative, flexible learning opportunities

· maximising self-esteem of children

· ensuring learning is FUN and challenging

then there may be a place for you on our Teaching Assistant Team.

We know that our Teaching Assistants are crucial to the progress our children make. We also know that a great Teaching Assistant will accept and support children's mistakes, valuing them as learning opportunities whilst always finding a way to help children to 'sail their boats' and navigate their own learning journeys.

Our children need support staff who have bags of energy, are adaptable, communicate confidently and clearly and always work with kindness and compassion.

These positions can be available in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 and will remain in place while the identified child remains on our school roll.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment.

Do you want to be a part of our unique team?

Then please apply on line - be quick we're looking forward to hearing from you.

Visits to the school are welcome.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
