Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic teacher to join our established team at the College site. In addition to having a proven track record of excellence within teaching and learning (including classroom management), the successful candidate will have a 'can do' attitude, be highly adaptable and possess flexibility to teach across the curriculum. The ability to teach core subjects is an essential requirement.

We welcome applications from candidates with significant SEND teaching experience, particularly from those with a strong background of working in a Post 16 setting and who possess the skills/experience to contribute to the expansion of our vocational offer. Key areas of vocational interest include: Construction, Art and Horticulture.

You will also provide tutorial support and pastoral care to students; an ability to motivate, enthuse and to build positive working relationships with others is therefore essential. The role will also include some cross college responsibility for developing enterprise and enrichment opportunities; the successful candidate must therefore demonstrate sufficient skills/experience to fulfil this requirement.
