Teacher of Design & Technology
Required September 2022
West Hatch is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, well organised and motivated teacher to join wishing to join a thriving and heavily oversubscribed school.
The ability to teach a range of D&T subject areas, especially Product Design at KS3&4, Food and Textiles at KS3 would be welcomed. Currently, The successful candidate would have the opportunity to be involved in the further development and successful delivery of these courses.
You will be working with, and supported by a team of experienced, successful and hard-working staff who are committed and passionate about their subjects. The department has a number of modern and well-resourced teaching environments, with recent expansion of the department and its resources further enhancing its success. Both Product Design and Food & Textiles are also supported by knowledgeable technicians.
We are looking for someone who believes in building strong relationships with students and is willing to go the extra mile to support them in being successful both in and outside of school.
