We are seeking to appoint a Senior Science Technician to oversee the general management of the science preparation areas and to provide a comprehensive support service to staff and students undertaking the science curriculum. You will be joining a fully-staffed, innovative and constantly improving science department which has secured huge rises in student achievement over the past few years.

The Senior Science Technician will purchase resources, ensure their availability to staff, and lead our experienced and hardworking team of Science Technicians in preparing materials for classes, setting up practicals and supporting lessons. It is expected that successful applicants will be proactive, self-directing and able to work under their own initiative, as well as having sound ICT skills. You will be required to achieve complete familiarity with the Science Department's health and safety procedures and will be responsible for keeping up to date with any changes to these procedures in order to produce risk assessments for the department.
