St Thomas of Canterbury was founded in 1886 and we are pleased to have served our community of Grays for so long. We hope to deliver our mission statement by enabling our pupils and the wider community to learn to love God, one another, our world and develop a thirst for learning in the process.

The Christus Catholic Trust and the Governors of St Thomas of Canterbury invite applications from experienced, enthusiastic and suitably-qualified, practising Catholic Leaders to join our Trust and lead St Thomas' in the day to day leadership and management of the school to build on our successes.

St Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Primary School is a large primary school located in Ward Avenue, Grays, Essex and is part of the Christus Catholic Trust (a Multi Academy Trust). St Thomas' is a popular school, located on an attractive site. It has an excellent local reputation and facilities which provides an engaging working and learning environment. We are a 3 form entry school, catering for around 630 pupils from a community which embraces diversity.
